Who knew this would happen? I don't think having 20 cameras following a family around is a good idea and it certainly isn't good parenting. What will the kids think about their parents in 10 or 12 years when they see reruns of their upbringing? It's a shame that Jon and Kate would put their own need for fame and money above the proper raising of their children. I wondered what their decision would be when it popped up in the news a few weeks ago. I was hoping that they would kick out the cameras and try to salvage their relationship and normalize their family life. Apparently their egos got in the way. I'm surprised that they are going to continue the show. Are we going to have the "Jon visits the kids on his weekend" show or the "Kate goes after more child support" show? This kind of crap also reduces TLC's legitimacy as a true learning channel. All I learned was not to put your family on TV!

I think they should end the show, give Jon custody of all of the kids and make Kate pay child support.
ReplyDeleteI think the whole thing is stupid to begin with. Its almost as bad a The Duggar Family. I think TLC should take all family shows off the air, who cares how normal people with more than 4 kids live there lives? People did it back in the 1800's with 12 or more kids and no cameras. They are not proving anything by putting there life on the air other than they are stupid, then they complain about the cameras and people being mean to them......
ReplyDeletebeing the mother of seven, i sure could have used the income that comes with having your family on t.v. but when i was raising this bunch, the last thing you wanted was for everyone to know what was going on in your house. i would have had to do more cleaning, cooking, all that crap! and 'reality'?? there is no such thing as reality, when you know there are cameras filming your every move. it is like the shows on discovery, 4 people going into africa to find livingston. the hard way. right! with camera crews, and you know that the crews are going to eat good, and have medical care, so who really thinks that there is any danger to the principals of the show. give me a break. it is a farce!
